Cookie Notice

Consent
This Cookie Notice explains how Civic Signal Workshop uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit chain-point.one. We describe what we store, why we store it, and how you can change your mind later.
By continuing to use the site after you see our banner, you agree that we may place essential cookies required for security and basic navigation. Analytics cookies only run if you choose to allow them in the banner or in your browser settings where applicable.
If you are browsing on behalf of an organization, share this notice with whoever manages your digital policies so approvals stay aligned.
Preferences
You can revisit your cookie preferences at any time by clearing the site storage key we describe in our banner and reloading the page, or by contacting us for a manual reset.
Your preference is stored locally in your browser. We do not sell that preference record as a standalone dataset.
If you use multiple devices, set preferences on each device because browsers do not synchronize this data for us.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. They can be session-based (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent (remaining for a defined period).
Similar technologies include local storage entries that remember lightweight UI states such as theme selection. We treat those entries with the same care as cookies when they identify usage patterns.
Cookies cannot run programs on your machine. They simply let our static site remember choices you already made.
Categories
Essential cookies support core functions such as loading pages reliably and remembering whether you accepted analytics.
Analytics cookies, when enabled, help us understand which workshop descriptions are read most often so we can improve clarity. We avoid building individual profiles for advertising resale.
Functional entries remember accessibility choices like theme so the interface stays comfortable during long reading sessions.
Third parties
This site is delivered as static files. Embedded media or fonts are bundled with the build where possible. If we embed a scheduling preview supplied by your organization, that provider may set its own cookies governed by their notice.
We do not load social widgets that track you across unrelated sites. Contact us if you notice any unexpected network calls so we can investigate.
When you follow outbound links, third-party sites apply their own policies. Read their notices before submitting personal data.
Contact
Questions about this Cookie Notice can be emailed to hello@chain-point.one with the subject line “Cookie inquiry”. We respond within a reasonable period for operational teams.
If you need accessible formats, tell us your preferred format and deadline. We will try to accommodate practical timelines.
You may also write to our mailing address listed in the footer for postal correspondence.
Consent
This second Consent section restates boundaries for teams who manage browsers centrally. Administrators may block non-essential cookies through group policy. Essential cookies may still be required to load encrypted connections or to honor your rejection choice itself.
We log aggregate consent events without storing sensitive political opinions in the cookie payload.
If laws in the Republic of Korea require updates, we will revise this notice and adjust the banner text accordingly.
Preferences
This second Preferences section documents compatibility. Private browsing modes may delete cookies after each session, which resets analytics consent until you choose again.
Some browsers block all storage by default. In that case, theme toggles may not persist between visits.
If you export our workshop PDFs, those files do not carry cookies; only the browser session interacting with the site does.
