Terms of Use

Termination

Either party may end a paid workshop engagement according to the written statement of work. Either party may stop using the public website at any time. We may suspend access if we detect abuse, scraping that degrades service, or attempts to compromise security. Provisions that logically survive termination—including liability limits and intellectual property restrictions—remain in force.

Liability

The site is provided on an as-is basis to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost goodwill unless mandatory law states otherwise. Workshop outcomes depend on your implementation. We do not promise specific electoral results. Our aggregate liability arising from the public site is limited to the greater of zero or amounts you paid us specifically for the affected service in the six months preceding the claim, except where law forbids such caps.

User obligations

You agree not to misuse forms, not to upload malware, and not to harvest personal data of other users from any future community feature without consent. You represent that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You will not misrepresent affiliation with Civic Signal Workshop when contacting third parties.

IP

We retain intellectual property in our curriculum, templates, and site design. You receive a limited license to use workshop materials for internal campaign purposes unless a contract specifies broader terms. You grant us a license to use anonymized feedback quotes for marketing if you explicitly opt in on a form. Trademarks displayed belong to their respective owners.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea unless a signed contract selects a different forum. Disputes should first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, then through courts located in Seoul unless mandatory consumer protections require a different venue. If a translated copy diverges, the Korean-law interpretation prevails for contracts performed in Korea.

Service description

Civic Signal Workshop provides training workshops, advisory sessions, and related templates for civic outreach teams. Unless stated, services are informational and educational, not legal or regulated brokerage. Schedules, locations, and deliverables are confirmed in writing before payment instructions are shared. We may update site copy to reflect current offerings without notice, but contracted scopes remain as signed.

Acceptance

By using the site you accept these Terms of Use. If you disagree, stop using the site. Continued use after we post an update constitutes acceptance of reasonable changes. Material contract changes require explicit agreement. You confirm you are authorized to bind your organization when submitting forms on its behalf.

Liability

This second Liability section notes workshop safety. You are responsible for venue access, accessibility accommodations for participants, and compliance with local gathering rules. We carry professional coverage as disclosed in procurement packets when requested under NDA. Force majeure events excuse performance for the duration of the disruption, including natural disasters or widespread connectivity failures.
